RIDER TERMS

These Terms of Service governs the manner in which ROED Riders use the services of ROED from the http://www.roed.app website ("Site") and/or ROED mobile application ("App"). This applies to the Site/App and all services offered by ROED.

Requirements

  • Riders must be 18 years old to sign up.

  • Riders must own a WI-FI and 4G LTE compatible smartphone.

  • Riders must maintain a Mobile Data account with proper coverage.

  • Riders must sign up with a valid credit/debit card.

  • Riders must sign up with all the required information.

  • Riders should allow minimum 15-30 minutes for driver to arrive at their location.

FEES AND PAYMENT

  • Riders total fare will be calculated and deducted from their accounts via the ROED mobile app.

  • Riders will be charged a fee per transaction for every purchase at partner outlet stores.

  • Riders can cancel a ride request within 5 minutes of the booking.

  • Riders will be charged a cancellation fee of USD1.85 / GBP£1.43 for cancellations after the 5 minute period.

  • Riders should never pay a driver in cash unless approved by dispatch services. (special conditions apply)

LIMITATIONS AND LIABILITIES

  • Riders can be asked to vacate a vehicle if the Driver feels threatened or that a Rider is violating regulations.

  • Riders should not encourage or accommodate Drivers in any illegal activity.

  • Riders should not carry any weapons on board a ROED Driver vehicle.

  • Riders should never assault any Driver.

  • Riders 15 years and under will not be allowed to ride unless accompanied by and adult.

  • Riders with car seat aged minors will not be allowed to ride without a Rider provided baby car seat.

  • ROED is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

  • ROED is not responsible for any Driver damages to Rider items.

Regulations

  • Riders should not eat on board any vehicle unless they have booked a service which allows such.

  • Riders must conduct themselves in a proper manner when travelling on a ROED Driver vehicle.

  • Riders may be subject to video surveillance and recording on some Driver vehicles.

  • Riders should not not smoke on board any ROED Driver vehicle.

  • Riders must respect other Riders whilst travelling on board a ROED Driver vehicle.

  • Riders must abide by all rules and regulations or risk being deactivated.
